Internal Wall Insulation

Internal wall insulation (IWI) is a method of improving a building’s energy efficiency by adding insulating material to the inside surfaces of external walls. It works by reducing heat loss, helping to keep properties warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

IWI is commonly used in homes where external wall insulation is not suitable, such as listed buildings or properties with restricted exterior alterations. In addition to lowering energy bills, internal wall insulation can improve indoor comfort, reduce carbon emissions, and help prevent condensation when correctly installed.
