External Wall Insulation
External wall insulation (EWI) is a system that involves fixing insulating material to the outside of a building’s external walls and then applying a protective and decorative finish. It significantly reduces heat loss by creating a continuous thermal barrier around the property, improving energy efficiency and internal comfort.
EWI is particularly effective for solid-wall properties and offers additional benefits such as enhanced weather protection, reduced condensation risk, and an improved external appearance. When installed correctly, external wall insulation can lower energy bills, reduce carbon emissions, and extend the lifespan of the building fabric.
